A Story about a Feral Druid2010-03-31 00:00:00...and reg. Ramparts.
I recall reading somewhere that it was possible for a feral druid to solo reg. Ramparts. I know that throughout the leveling process in Outland, I had quite a bit of success against same-level elites that would have rapidly narfed most other classes.
After another full Kara clear last night and a fast heroic SV run this morning ('twas the daily) I finally had enough badges to upgrade my well-worn Heavy Clefthoof Vest. Joy upon joys! No more would I be humiliated by anyone checking my armory to see me in T4/5 epics and...a nub 70 blue...
Let's just say that after SV, I found myself bored. I had already done all of the SSO dailies I could stomach and tonight was a night off from raiding for the entire guild. With nothing planned and a bag full of a gold, I decided to see just how far I could get into reg Ramparts. For the record, self buffed stats for this adventure were 15.7k health, 32.8k armor, 40 dodge. No relevant resistances beyond the +25 from GotW. No potions/flasks were used to augment stats, and I didn't use food. Based on my health, that meant Imp. LotP would return ~680 HP up to every six seconds.
One of the great things about going solo in a dungeon is that y...

Sticky's getting out of dateI mean, really out of date.2010-03-15 00:00:00my two cents on the topic, since
many of the other class guides on this site have this.
How often are the stickies updated?
Edit: Looks like last year May, Dec, and July. So what could be missing? &...

Cinco De Mayo Pluso Teno2010-02-21 00:00:00hate you. These are the people who always have to take the "counter-trendy" side to any argument and "hate" just for the sake of not following the other sheep, fighting the
man, and refusing to shave their armpits. (Who cares on a dude, inexcusable on a chick btw.)
These people are also the people who read your works the most. They hang on every word, looking for anything that they can rip apart because they hate to admit that they LIKE you. I love these people because they are amazing at driving up site hits.
Some People REALLY Hate You - See? That first one doesn't sound so pompous now does it? People will hate you - TRULY hate you. They'll write you hate mail, bash you anonymously and do things to ensure that you KNOW that they *loathe* you.
But I've also learned that THIS is going to happen. As soon as you put yourself out there in the light, you are going to rub someone the wrong way and you are going to be loathed.
You can't make everyone like you, you can't make everyone understand you,...

Bill Roper of Blizzard - Part One 2009-10-22 00:00:00Arthas, one of the main characters in the hu
man campaign
"As I go through the first level here, I don't do any of the
classic RTS things; I'm not doing any base building, I'm not doing
any resourcing", Bill boomed over the sound of clanging steel,
which was echoing out of the speakers in the little auditorium as
he demonstrated the game's opening stages to a group of British
journalists. "What I am doing is getting to know the characters,
their abilities, how to control them. Getting used to things like
going on quests and doing some exploring, and introducing players
to some of the main characters that are going to be seen in the
storyline."
Telling a gripping story is something that Blizzard have been
concentrating on in Warcraft III, with dozens of little in-game
cinematics pushing the plot along in a far more sophisticated way
than was possible in previous games in the series. "We've always
tried to tell good stories, but even up to Warcraft II so much of
that was done with the static introductions to missions and in the
manual", Bill told me later, esconced in the comfort of a plush
conference room hidden away in the bowels of the Covent Garden
Hotel.
"We started to break away from that a little bit in Starcraft, but
with Warcraft III at any point in the gameplay we can get to a
triggered event, zoom in...
