A Story about a Feral Druid2010-03-31 00:00:00...and reg. Ramparts.
I recall reading somewhere that it was possible for a feral druid to solo reg. Ramparts. I know that throughout the leveling process in Outland, I had quite a bit of success against same-level elites that would have rapidly narfed most other classes.
After another full Kara clear last night and a fast heroic SV run this morning ('twas the daily) I finally had enough badges to upgrade my well-worn Heavy Clefthoof Vest. Joy upon joys! No more would I be humiliated by anyone checking my armory to see me in T4/5 epics and...a nub 70 blue...
Let's just say that after SV, I found myself bored. I had already done all of the SSO dailies I could stomach and tonight was a night off from raiding for the entire guild. With nothing planned and a bag full of a gold, I decided to see just how far I could get into reg Ramparts. For the record, self buffed stats for this adventure were 15.7k health, 32.8k armor, 40 dodge. No relevant resistances beyond the +25 from GotW. No potions/flasks were used to augment stats, and I didn't use food. Based on my health, that meant Imp. LotP would return ~680 HP up to every six seconds.
One of the great things about going solo in a dungeon is that ...
Trying Kitty. Why is my dps low?2010-03-24 00:00:00I recently decided to try kitty today. After spending over around 2k gold on gems/enchants, I was ready to hit the test dummy. I've researched the rotation and got the addons(BadKitty and a combo pt one). I'm whacking on this thing, never letting SR drop, always keeping rake/mangle up. I'm thinking, yeah this isn't so bad! I look at the meter and see a dissappointing 3.5k
I:
-am hit capped
-am expertise capped(I think)
-know priority rotation
-using CDs such as trinkets and Berserk
-standing behind th...
Sticky's getting out of dateI mean, really out of date.2010-03-15 00:00:00I'd like to see a in-depth guide to hunter talent trees. From the mind/s of Veteran Hunters. Who have learned a great deal from different specs, and builds. With numbers per talent point bonus, summeries of how those points can help a hunter in various situations, and other usefull info, Hunters can/could use.
Just my two cents on the topic, since many of the other class guides on this site have this.
How often are the stickies updated?
Edit: Looks like last year May, Dec, and July. So what could be missing?

Why would a hunter melee in PVP2010-03-13 00:00:00For clarification, what class are you? If you're a survival hunter you could probably pull off meleeing another hunter (assuming they're BM or Marks) because you will melee better than they will. But for the most part, it's just huntards who think they're rogues.
A few things though...1. alliance SUCKS at AB. I play both ally and horde, and I have to say on my horde (only toon I've done extensive BG's on) I've won probably 90-95 of my AB's.
I'm just wondering if you're a hunter (which it kind ...

Troll Hunter?2010-03-09 00:00:00My Fav pet would have to be a Kodo, they can slam anything to the ground without having to worry about it coming after you.
There are also some raging bulls in Elwinn Forest that are good for charging, then goring anything in red. Unfortunatly only works on players dressed in red.
Might give either a shot and see what is best for you, ater all you look and smll like a troll, so why not act like it.

Training points.2010-03-01 00:00:00A pet at any given level will have the same training points. Feed pet level happiness train pet in accordance with the various posts here or petopia.
A ravager will do slightly more damage than a cat - but looks stupid. This is the only place that I accept a little less DPS for looks.
Cower is useless. In raids or instances your tank will not lose aggro to your pet, as long as growl is turned off it will never happen. If your tank loses aggro to your pet with growl off leave the group immediately and never group with tank again. (Af...
